Introduction

食物是必要且無可替代,也是人與土地的連結所在。「土生土長」從認識到選擇,有意識的選擇每一口要放入嘴中的食物;我們對於食物的選擇,直接且絕對地,展現了我們對於土地的關注與態度。安心而美味的食糧,是出於乾淨的水土、產自友善且永續的農事,以及自然不造作的製法。「土生土長」順著日常食,追溯食物的根源與歷程,選擇我們如何跟所根所長的土地共同生活。

Food connects human and land. The feed is not unidirectional, bidirectional indeed. The choice we make, directly and absolutely shows our concern toward land. Safe and delicious food must come from clean water and soil, cultivated by sustainable farming work, processed clearly and simply. “On the Ground” aims to follow ordinary food, trace the origin and process, recognizing and choosing every bite of food we are to put into mouth, consciously and with force. The way we choose our food determines the way we choose to live with our land.

Behind the Scenes

2008年創辦在地果物加工品牌「在欉紅」。2011年發起「社團法人台灣好食協會」。2014年,「台灣好食 Taiwan Good Food X 台灣原味」啟動,串連原鄉物產,推廣部落農作。2015年,秉持著對於在地日常食的探究,「土生土長 On the Ground」小舖開門,試著藉由這個平台,有意識地選擇,傳遞對於台灣味的期待。2017年,基於對米的探究與學習,創辦了以米為題的獨立刊物「米通信」,以及每季用各地不同好米做料理的「泔米食堂」。2018,以台灣的咖啡/可可之名,創辦「COFE」,吃的精品咖啡。
