The heart of the Dawn Creative comes from ancient Chinese philosophy, “I Ching” (The Book of Changes). By using the concepts of “change” and “mixture” to do design, we strive to bring Eastern culture a fresh, updated presence into contemporary design. If we love our own culture, we will become more and more literate.
“Lucky Toad” is a modern and stylish reinterpretation of a feng shui ornament. It not only preserves traditional customs but also aims to elevate and explore the possibilities of culture. With the goal of revitalizing a mythical creature that originated a millennium ago, our design team and production factory share a sincere mission.
Parsons School of Design, Design and Technology Master of Fine Art 碩士。

Marc Lin is a versatile designer and creative director at Dawn Creative Design, with a bachelor’s degree in Industrial Design from National Cheng Kung University in Taiwan and a Master of Fine Arts in Design and Technology from Parsons School of Design in New York. After a decade in New York, I returned to Asia, where I discovered the superficiality of many things that resemble Western culture. This sparked my interest in Eastern culture, particularly the concepts of “change” and “fusion” found in ancient Chinese texts like the Book of Changes, Laozi, and the Analects of Confucius. Inspired by these ideas, I pursued a path of modernizing Chinese design, breaking free from conventional visuals.
